This is like chick-lit, but written by a guy! Just the right amount of schmaltz, mixed in with eye rolls, and “take that PDA somewhere else” kinda stuff. And, the plot is spot on with a twist that, when it unfolds, I thought, “Duh, of course!” But, not until it was actually on the page in front of me. I WANT to be surprised like that. I like when the author is really, really talented and smooth. I highly recommend!
I read this novel two times - the first quite by accident. The story and people and emotions touched my heart and my need for, well, just a good book. Then I went back and read all about Myron and Win, from their beginnings. Only then did I allow myself this second read. It is a gift to all of us who crave beauty and humor in life.
Fantastic book! Page turner forsure! Very excited and good amount of twists to come up with your own theories. Round of a applause to the author*
As usual Harlan has given us another awesome Myron Bolitar story. This one was absolutely fabulous and loads of fun. Myron and Win along with rest once again take us on a thrilling murder mystery ride. You really should be reading these books !
I just finished the last page and I'm legitimately in tears, for more reasons then one. Harlan Coben is an inspiration and does it once again! Fast paced, thrilling with a dash of comedic humor and romance this is Coben at his very best. Even if your not familiar with the Myron Boltiar series this book will still have you on the edge of your seat. A MUST READ!!!
Unpredictable twists and turns.
Jim's I TOUCH
Many fine characters and a good storyline.
The best yet. Win and Myron together are always fascinating and the author steps up his game with them! I hope he writes more with these two.
The thing I love about this series is the interplay between Win and Myron. They are so different, true yin and yang. I have always loved El and Al. Contrary to another reviewer, I did like the addition of Mickey to the story. It supported Myrons sense of family and desire for naormalcy. liked the story, loved the ending. Witty writing. Love how Win's POV is first person and Myron's is third.
Couldn't put the book down. Please tell me that someone else cried at the end, I did two times. Once on the cliff with Brooke and Patrick and especially after Win's secret was unveiled with his dance with Ema. I loved this book!
